May I take this opportunity of this reminder to wish you A Happy New Year? I HOPE 2022 will be a year full of hope for you like the theme of the forthcoming WHR issue.
Not infrequently, the last-minute entry has produced some of the most brilliant haiku. Perhaps in that desperate situation of urgency the poets can become most natural, spontaneous and ‘innocent’, free from rules and regulations, harmful will to be clever and superior, and above all from haiku textbooks. In short, they can become ‘children’. You still have more than 24 hours to institute such poetic rejuvenation.
